high waters

Hi hi :-) Today Amanda and I set out on a mini adventure in a forest and in a field to photograph for one of my favorite companies: Scaramanga (leather goods). Also not a stranger to y'all. It was beautifully warm, and the shadows in the forest were so natural and cast such a glow…long story short, I had a very cleansing, relaxing day. Though I felt sick for most of it, being out in nature truly works on the soul. I think it's quite therapeutic to lay amongst the trees or in grass and just breathe.

sorry for under-boobage and rolls

Outfit details: Zara sweater. Urban Outfitters distressed shorts. Rando brown leather belt. Grey City shoes. LA with love bralette. Free People hat.

This backpack has become my life since I received it in the mail. Seriously, I transferred all my essentials into it and haven't looked back. I've always wanted a mini little backpack to just take around for adventures/city trips/traveling, and this is the perfect one. It's apart of their new line too, and everything is genuine leather and such quality that it'll never break on you (seriously-never). I'm so, so happy about this little guy! I'll even be taking him to the city tomorrow.

Get yours here! Also you can find their site here, and Instagram here :-)

Hope you enjoyed the photos from today lovers! Tomorrow I'm going to the city with my best friend to celebrate her (belated) birthday so I'll be having tons of pictures up. Much love!!

sleepy

Hi loves. So I just got back from work today and between being sick and what not I'm really feeling quite tired, and though I'm exhausted I thought why not do a little cozy post featuring what I usually wear when I have down time (since you guys never really get to see that) and my sort of process to unwind. I've always wanted to do an elaborated post like this (and I have before, my de-stress post, found here) but let's just take a tiny moment to see how I'm doing it tonight.

Wearing: Favorite Free People cardigan, Urban bralette, random gray leggings, cozy socks from Rob Kardashian's line (super random-I got them when my feet were killing me in NYC so we went to the Dash store…I do not regret anything)

Tonight I'm going to brew up some green tea, answer messages/emails, and really just be comfy with no cares in the world. I also need to get better because this weekend I plan on doing tons of shenanigans. I need to get it together.

How to de-stress weekday night style: make some tea. Blog. Watch a great movie. Get in a cardigan. Relax. Do some yoga. Eat dessert. Watch reality TV shows. Take off your makeup. Smile. Listen to music. Feel happy. Be happy.

I know this was short, but some little tips to hopefully let you unwind tonight. Love you guys so much!

free people fall lookbook ⧨

Fall is just around the corner. It is said that August is the Sunday of summer, and as the days grow just a bit shorter and you start craving sweaters, maybe some boots…that's when the glimpse of Autumn makes your heart skips a beat and the transition in stores only makes it more exciting.

I got the chance to photograph for Free People Paramus this week, inspired by the new fall Manalogue that came out a week or so ago. I could have not been more excited. Here's a little fall lookbook, featuring Free People pieces. Details below.

All the clothes are Free People. 1st outfit shoes: DSW. 2nd outfit shoes: Forever 21. 3rd outfit shoes: Grey City

Feel free to ask for more details in the comments if you want!!

I can't wait to go to NYC and really channel the wardrobe that I've wanted for so long. My inspiration? Only dark, black, grey, brown, or white pieces. Pointy shoes, vintage shoes, only black or brown. Skinny scarves, pageboy hats, rope chokers. A new haircut (that will be happening soon, the weekend after this one, so excited to show you guys. I can't stand my hair right now, so straggly and a ombre that's not supposed to be ombre!!!!). Brown belts, buttons, high waisted everything. I'm so, so excited.

What are you channeling this fall? I want to know! I always, always love hearing from you guys and what you think. Hope you liked this lookbook!
