Some photos from this weekend and a little update! |
So I told you I would have another interior's post up this week but I didn't have too much of anything new, besides the fact that I am REDOING MY LIVING ROOM! Woo!!! I am so excited about it because, if you watched my apartment tour from a year ago (maybe more now), you would know that the living room was pretty much a mish-mosh of stuff. Basically everything that I didn't want in my space anymore ended up in the living room. The couch was thrown in there when we moved in, the table is stained from candles, and it just never reflected my true style. With new found inspiration and saving up, I decided that I would take the living room into my own hands, donate the furniture, and get new pieces. I have a new chair now and a couch is on it's way, but that little project will have to be on pause because this upcoming week I am traveling a bit. I am moving my sister into college, and then I am meeting Adam in Vegas for some much-needed actual vacation time. Not to worry because I will still be posting pics for sure, but the blogposts might be a little sparse! I'm so happy though that I've had so much inspiration flowing and I also wanted to thank you guys for being so lovely always.
Room-wise, the only new addition is this beautiful print from the Undone Store. I need to find a frame for it and hang it, but I love the simple print. Honestly, I would say my room is pretty much done! I'm so concentrated on the living room I feel like my own space has been on the back burner, which is fine by me, because I feel like there isn't much to add anymore.
That marble table will also finally be going into our living room once everything has arrived and been cleared out. This weekend I found the time to really do some self-lovin' and care. Since Adam is away, I found time to be with friends since our weekly schedules are usually so hectic. On Saturday I went to the MET with an amazing friend and then had a total face-mask night with pizza and wine (and maybe some 50 shades of grey--sorry). No but I really watched Pretty Woman and absolutely loved it.
Anyway, just wanted to give you a little update on what's been going on and why I'll be traveling this week! I really hope I'm not too empty posting-wise, but just know it is out of business. Let me know if you'd want to see a fashion (Polyvore) post from me that I can post on Tuesday before I leave. What do you need help with styling? Let me know! x WEARING: WITH JEAN S'IL VOUS PLAIT JACKET | GUCCI BELT | BASKET BAG | ADIDAS
I'd love to see what you would style for wedding guest looks! I have to go to a formal wedding this month and need some ideas. Love that coffee table btw
ReplyDeleteThat is such a good idea, especially since it's wedding season! I've had 3 to go to myself! Thank you :")
DeleteI'm bet you're so excited to be updating your living room. I bet it will turn out awesome.

I love your room! I, too, have recently been inspired by Parisian fashion, decor and buildings!
ReplyDeleteI really loved the vlog you did where you had coffee/cereal, went to Whole Foods and made your Fall-inspired cork board! It would be really cool to see a 1-yr-later "almost fall" vlog! I also like the idea of autumn Polyvore outfit ideas (I'm sorry ---that is a lot lol. I know you've got a lot on your plate, so honestly so do what you're able to do and whatever that is im sure we're all going to swoon!)
Aww thank you so much for all of the ideas! I love the fall Polyvore outfit idea too...maybe I'll do that and try to mix in some other requests I've gotten! x
DeleteSorry if this is too specific, but could you help style pearl embellished jeans? Maybe you remember the pearl embellished mom jeans that were popular on Zara (I think) a couple months ago? I bought a similar pair from Guess Kids (I'm very short) and would like help styling them four all seasons especially winter.

Yes, I totally know what you're talking about! Here are some options...
Delete1. Navy crew neck sweater + pointed black ankle boots + leather jacket
2. White button up shirt + pointy kitten heels
3. White tee + jean jacket (jean on jean trend) + black bag + street style sneakers
Striped pants! Just bought a pair and stuck on how to make them a bit edgier than just pairing them with a black or white tee!
ReplyDeletemaybe some simple/lazy everyday outfits
ReplyDeleteI've followed you for the past 3 years and it's been such a joy to watch you grow and thrive! Just graduated high school in June so being able to look up to someone who's a bit older - and totally killing it - is the best. xo
ReplyDeleteAwww thank you babe!!! Congrats on graduating, hope you're having an amazing time! xoxo
ReplyDeleteIn love with your blog!
