my favorite spots in nyc: part 2

A guide including delicious, chic restaurants and hidden gems of New York City.
I am so happy to be doing another round of this post--the first one, which you can find here, received so much amazing feedback and a couple of you asked if I could do another. After exploring more and taking more mental notes, I am here to give you the second round up of my favorite places.

FOR BREAKFAST/NIGHTS OUT...
LE TURTLE
177 CHRYSTIE STREET

This place has my favorite interiors to date. Modern chairs, marble tables, tons of plants, and cozy corners perfect for a date night. Their brunch menu is delicious (see evidence above) and their bar is perfect to grab a drink with a friend. The dinner menu is very French, so be sure to double-check before going to see if it is your taste. If not, at least you will be in a beautiful environment.

FOR A PAMPER DAY...
CHILLHOUSE
149 ESSEX STREET

It is extremely rare to find a nail place that is chic until you discover Chillhouse. They do massages and specialize in artistic manicures (again, evidence above). They also have a cute café right where you walk in, so you can grab a coffee and relax if you don't want any treatments. It is an amazing place to unwind and feel comfortable.

TO SPLURGE...
BYREDO
62 WOOSTER STREET

I have yet to splurge on one of their perfumes, but the Byredo on Wooster is breathtaking. I go in to casually douse myself in all of their scents and creams and to get inspired by the simple decor. It is also the only location that features their latest handbag collections. All of their perfumes are unique and lovely, so definitely would recommend stopping in if you need a new signature scent or a little dose of inspiration. The Céline across the street doesn't hurt, either.

TO WORK...
SPRING PLACE
6 ST. JOHNS LANE

This is a little bit different because it does require a membership, but I 100% recommend because the spaces are amazing. Spring Place is a wonderful space to work, meet up with friends, and hold meetings. As you can see, the work areas are made to be extremely inspiring, modern, yet cozy. There is also a restaurant that has a wonderful view of Tribeca. There are also studio spaces available for photoshoots if you are a creative.

Still want more places?
  • Totokaelo - 190 BOWERY - for shopping
  • The Public Hotel - 215 CHRYSTIE STREET - for drinks, dinner, or a luxurious stay
  • While We Were Young - 183 WEST 10TH STREET - still on my list, but looks extremely beautiful and yummy
  • La Pecora Bianca - 950 2ND AVE - again, beautiful decor and their food (Italian) is delicious

Now, I have to think of more for round 3...let me know of what other kinds of places you'd like to see!
