in between summer & fall

It's a very awkward time in dressing--it's still pretty warm, yet air conditioned rooms and random cold breezes pop up here and there which leaves a girl to question...what the hell do I wear? In between summer and fall, I try to incorporate some cozy pieces, while still being careful that I have a breathable feature about my outfits. Here is what I wore on a day where the weather was just so, and I felt perfectly insulated (and pretty chic).

"back to responsibilities" looks

I put together a couple of outfits for going back to responsibilities--aka school, work, or any other tasks that pop up around this time when all we want is to still bask in the last bit's of summer sun. Autumn is just around the corner, which means we need cozy looks that will still keep us comfortable and stylish for running around, while trying to cope with the fact that we are back to work.

the new living room

As you might have seen in my recent YT video, I got the insane urge to update the living room. I wanted it to be a space where I could come home and be sure that it reflects my personal style and became a spot where I could gain inspiration--have some wine after a long day and host friends in. When I'm on the go and don't have much of an outfit planned, I always turn back to a classic go-to: jeans and a white tee. Styled with accessories like statement earrings and sling backs, it is the perfect off-duty look to run around town while still being comfortable and chic.

let's talk...nail polish

Though I obviously love skincare and beauty, I'm a little lost when it comes to nails. I'm still trying to nip my nail-biting habit in the bud and I usually have no idea what my nail color is when I happen to have them painted. I sort of just throw one on and don't pay much attention, hoping that the neutral-shade is making my hands look tanner. I stumbled across J. Hannah, the Instagram account you definitely admire from time to time to drool over their stunning, simple jewelry and Autumn-toned polishes.  Take a peak into what I thought about one of their nail polishes.

 If you had said to me 2 years ago that I would be getting on the subway and walking around New York City in a shirt with a naked woman's silhouette on them, I would have thought you were lying out of sheer shyness and lack of confidence.
